@JRBL1A1: The answer to your first question is “Yes,” I was in fact in attendance at the game and saw and heard exactly what occurred. The racial profanities and vulgarities that I heard were reminiscent of an ugly period in the history of this country.

chatman2a… how do you know the player with light colored skin said something racial to the hitter? Were you there? Did you hear a audio recording? Maybe it was nothing racial at all? Maybe it was a taunt about being lucky, or maybe calling him a cock, or whatever. Conflict between people with different skin color does not mean it is racially motivated.

from what i hear is that there was no racist remarks made at all. From what I heard is that Beltre hit the HR clean but, what he did was unsportsmanlike raising your arms is not the issue the issue at hand was that he raised his arms and waited for the ball to land before running the bases. That was the thing that started it all. Now I live down the road from the Blaze location and I am not a Blaze fan nor am I fan of the Rawhide, I am fan of the sport and that was a STUPID thing to do by Engel.
