Aggie Baseball - War Hymn after Regional Championship

The Aggie Baseball team gathers in front of the student section and sings the War Hymn along with all the Aggies! This was after the Aggies had won the College Station Regional Championship against the ULaLa Ragin Cajuns on 06/04/07

Yeah, in the months since then, I’ve done even more research about Texas A&M, since I’m the most obsessed non-Aggie ever.
I prefer the story about one of the wars starting and a large portion of TAMU’s student body shipped off to fight for the country, while the Longhorns all stayed home and sipped tea like the cowards they are.

Short for “tea sip” or “t-sip.” Used to describe the students at t.u. because they’re hoity-toities who probably sit around sipping tea with their pinkies out.

Can you explain the “sips” thing? I’m from Georgia, but I love Texas A&M, but I have no idea why Aggies say “sips”.
