The entire stadium complex will be complete and the keys will be turned over to the Portsmouth City Schools on August 15. Thirteen year-old Chris Siders of Pensacola, Florida was diagnosed with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma at the age of 11. After multiple failed rounds of chemotherapy and radiation treatments Siders was placed on the Make-A-Wish Foundation’s wish list. Siders’ AAU baseball team shaved their heads when he lost his hair and carried around a cardboard cut-out of him to games and practices when he was too weak to make it. Siders has defied the odds and he is now an inspirational and active member of his AAU baseball team fighting for the AAU Baseball National Championship at ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex at Walt Disney World.
