johnbehrhart asked: the city of portsmouth, oh wants to sell “spartan stadium and branch rickey park” (football stadium and baseball park) to the high school for $1…. yes, one dollar…. the school board said no. Can I now buy this property for the same price?
all points are valid…. but, as I recall,,, isn’t it illegal to offer one person a price and change it to a higher price for another?

cmalito00 asked: With all the stuff going on in the US why is the Congress deciding what happens to players who violent substance rules in the MLB. Also, why does this become a congressional matter, shouldnt’ it just be ruled on by the commissioner? I don’t see how Congress should be in the picture even a little bit.

asked: new neighbors moved in apparently with a lot of kids. i live across from them. We have 3 cars. two in driveway my car parks on the street. the kids play soccer alot ive asked them 3 times to please move down. and i talked to the father told him my concerns he understood , then i told him theres a park near by they can go to. still they keep playing! i think i will call the cops once they hit my car. i might sound like an ******* but hey its my property. why should i have to move my car its in front of my house. they shoudlnt be playing in the streets anyways. am i wrong? please help so i can either talk to the father again or call the PO-pos asap! thanks guys!
well first of all they alry broke my front windshield last week still cracked the father offered to repair. and yea im all for letting kids play. but hey to the kids they obviously dont know the value of other things. Anf FYI i am not an old man i am a 19 yr old college student who worked his *** off to pay for his car and i pay my own insurance. theres no room in my driveway. why should i sacrafice my hard work and money jsut to let some kids have fun? no one gave me any breaks when i was that age. like i said im all for letthing them have fun but not on my expense. thanks for the answers

AlongthePemi asked: I hope I’m posting this question in the right place.
A new outdoor playground was just installed at a school in our neighborhood. It is on school property next to a field which includes a baseball diamond, basketball court and tennis court. But the placement of the playground structures make it obviously part of the school rather than the park. Will I be able to bring my 3 year old to play there outside of school hours? Since it is school property will I be trespassing if I bring him there on the weekend or after school gets out?
It is a public school and there is no barrier except that the playground is at the top of a hill with the school and the rest of the field/park is down below.

osunumberonefan asked: How do you know the seller didn’t just go down to their local Wal-Mart to buy a baseball to mail out to the winning bidder? Considering the last home run ball sold for over $200,000 how would you know you won’t be taken advantage of?

Queenblack asked: stuff comes your way? We just want to support our kids playing baseball or soccer, but these outdoor smokers have no consideration for others. Why don’t we have the freedom to breathe fresh air in our public parks?

The Ad Gal asked: I’ve seen this flag at baseball parks, but I don’t know that I’ve seen it anywhere else. It looks like the flag of Canada, except the leaf is green and it has the circle. Any idea what this is? I can’t figure it out.

justin3067 asked: Everyone in the rest of the US thinks Houston is filled with nothin but poverty and illigeal aliens … but if you haven’t lived here then you have no right to judge. Houston is a BEAUTIFUL place and yes there are immigrants and some poverty but what city doesn’t? Houston has so much culture, theme parks, baseball parks, football fields, clubs, museums, shopping centers, everything you could possibly think of doing, Houston has it. Houston may be a bit congested on the freeways at time, yes (hurricane rita didn’t help our rep either but neways..) Houston has so many things to offer and it is a BEAUTIFULE place to live .. i moved here from Louisiana thinking what the hell am i doing with all the rumors i’ve heard … but houston is NOTHING what the rest of the States think. Houston is the best .. sorry.
