You can do it as long as it isn’t used in a game…I don’t see why you’d want to though.

It’s illegal to use them in the MLB because it give the bat more pop when it makes contact with the ball.
That’s one of the reasons they aren’t allowed to use metal bats- people would be hitting homeruns all the time.
